Something very important that we can all do to maintain our state of mind at the moment, is to stay in contact with as many people as possible. The benefits of social connection have been proven to be more important than ever for survival and to florish.

Personally, I have made a point of calling someone different every day. My calls have been very welcome and I'd like to think I have made a difference in their day as well as mine.

While we can't go out meeting new people at the moment, there are people we enjoyed meeting recently at the dinners or perhaps other outings.

I know for sure from the feedback we receive after the dinners that you have met people you enjoyed talking to and getting to know. Common interests were discussed, experiences were shared and there were a lot of laughs.

Perhaps at the time, life was busy and you didn't take the step of requesting their contact details to catch up with them again.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if there is someone you would enjoy chatting on the phone with during our time of social isolation. I will make the request for you and pass the number on if it is approved.

Maybe you exchanged numbers, but didn't get to contact each other at the time. Now could be the perfect time. Connection is more important than ever.

This could be a time when you make some new special connections for friendships or a new partner. You never know who is out there thinking it would be wonderful to hear from you.
