A TABLE FOR SIX PRE-CONTRACTUAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

1. It is extremely important that all clients attending dinners of six and group events organised by “A Table for Six” and associated franchises, are aware that these functions are set up to introduce like minded people without pressure or obligation.

At these functions “A Table for Six” will not guarantee a client will meet a partner or perfect match.

2. All new clients MUST be over the age of 18 years of age. All fees are subject to change without notice.

3. Agency policies

(a) Name of agency: A Table for Six.

(b) Business type: Introduction Agency.

(c) Service level:  Each Member can expect to have the opportunity to attend a minimum of 6 Dinners or Events over a 12-month membership period. Dinners and events, open listed on our web site are classed as an invitation.

(d)Membership fee: $299 for twelve months payable at registration. A $39 Booking Fee on confirmation of each dinner.

(e) Criteria for Members:
(i)All new clients will be OVER 18 of age.
(ii) To be honest and ethical and possess a friendly personality.
(iii) Any person supplying false or misleading information will not be registered. Photo ID required.

(f) Method of introductions: Social Dining or Group Events only. All personal information supplied remains confidential with agencies.

(f) Membership Refund policies: Full refund less admin fee if notified before 5.00pm on the 3rd clear business day within cooling off period. This is a legal contract.

(g) No refund after cooling off period.

(h) Agent’s complaint procedure: Complaints must be in writing within 3 business days and sent to the Agent head office. (info@atableforsix.com.au)

(i) Client obligations:  As per Member’s Handbook – download link supplied upon registration.

(j) False information given will exclude or terminate clients from “A Table for Six”.

TERM OF AGREEMENT:

Each membership is for twelve Months from payment unless otherwise stated. Renewal of membership is on application.

From time to time you may dine with someone you have met from a previous dinner. At A Table for Six dinners & events, we request Members do not ask for a date or phone number in front of other Members.

IDENTITY:

A photo ID is to be supplied upon Membership application as proof of age and location. We also request a recent photo from you. A Table for Six Membership photos are used for our reference only and not shown to any other participant.

CHANGE OF DETAILS:

You must notify us of any changes to your personal details including change of email address, postal address and contact telephone numbers. Your phone number is your unique identifier and you advise us if you change your phone number.

If you wish your details to be removed from our files or E-mail list, please request so in writing and A Table for Six will follow your instructions within 2 business days.

ALLERGIES:

If you have any allergies to any kind of food, you must notify the restaurant yourself prior to dining. A Table for Six or its Agencies will take no responsibility for any food allergies or health condition problems arising from any consumption of food or drinks at dinners and events.

MARITAL STATUS:

This service is for singles that are not in another committed relationship.

LIABILITY:

To the maximum extent permitted by any law, A Table for Six and its franchisees, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees specifically excludes any and all liability for any direct, indirect , special, incidental or consequential damages or injuries howsoever occurring, arising, out of or in any way connected with the attendance of any dinner or other event organised by a Table for six.

By agreeing to attend events sponsored by A Table for Six, Members waive any and all claims they or their heirs may have against A Table for Six, its franchisees, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees.

We respect each site visitor’s right to personal privacy. To that end, we collect and use information throughout our website only as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. This statement applies solely to information collected on this website.

A Table for Six collects or may collect the following information: Contact information-Contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers are collected for the purposes of advising clients and potential clients of our upcoming dinners and events. Also for advising clients and potential clients of special offers. Profile information- Profile information such as gender, age group, and postcode, how you heard about us is collected as part of the Passholder registration process and eCourse registration process. It is collected for the purposes of providing suitable dinners and functions to accommodate our client base in specific areas. Other voluntary information provided as a response to surveys, contests, online activities, eCourse and testimonials is collected for the purposes of refining and improving our service to provide the most up to date and high quality service possible. How we use the personal information we collect about you. Contact information is used to keep you up to date with the dinners and events we are offering to allow you to take advantage of suitable events. Profile information is used to place you at dinners and events with the most compatible companions and your preferred venues. Testimonials provided may be used in our newsletter and in the Testimonial page of our website. We protect your privacy at all times and names are not published. Complaints are investigated in accordance with “The Introduction Agents Act 2001”

used to improve the content of our Website, Newsletter and services.
never shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

In order to use this website, visitors and/or Members are not required to complete our registration form.
During registration a user must give certain contact information, but we never sell or give away this information. It is only gathered to contact the user about services on our site for which s/he has expressed interest. It is optional for the user to provide demographic information, how they heard about us, gender, and postcode etc. Giving additional information helps provide a more personalised experience on our site, but is not required.
Registration is not required to enter our site.

We publish a newsletter and we never sell or share our subscribers’ email addresses.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and you agree that the Australian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute. PRODUCT AND SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In these PRODUCT AND SERVICES terms and conditions (“Conditions”) the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:-

the Customer, you, your: means you, the customer, who buys the Services from A Table for Six; A Table for Six, Our and We: means A Table for Six (or in the case of franchisees, a franchisee of A Table for Six); the Products: means the products supplied by A Table for Six to the Customer; and the Services: means the services supplied by A Table for Six to the Customer; and the Web Site: means the web site www.atableforsix.com.au

1 Order and Acceptance

1.1 These Conditions shall apply to all orders and contracts for the supply of the Products and services by A Table for Six to the Customer. All orders for the Products and Services shall be deemed to be an offer by the Customer to purchase the Products and Services in accordance with these Conditions. Any variations to these Conditions must be in writing, otherwise they will not be binding on either party.

1.2 The acceptance of orders for the Products and Services shall be at the entire discretion of A Table for Six. Our acceptance of an order occurs when a Contract is signed by both parties and up until this point, We may decline to provide You with the goods and Services without giving any reason.

1.3 You may not obtain any services on Our Web Site if you are under 18 years of age.

2 Prices and Payment

2.1 Unless otherwise stated in writing the prices quoted by A Table for Six on the Web Site are inclusive of GST and any other applicable taxes.

2.2 The price of the Services will be as quoted on application. We reserve our right to terminate this agreement with you if We are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.

2.3 You can pay by any of the methods listed in our relevant emails. Please make sure that if you are paying by credit card or debit card, such card is valid on the date of despatch of your order.

2.4 When you input your postcode into the Web Site, you are automatically directed to the Web Site referring to Your local A Table for Six representative. Please note that prices vary from territory to territory. We aim to offer a top quality service at the best price possible, to do this we reserve the right to make promotional offers with different fees and different features to any of our customers including different ages, genders and demographics.

3 Oral Statements

The Customer agrees that, in the event of any conflict, written information about the Products and Services supplied by A Table for Six shall prevail over any oral statements made by A Table for Six or by A Table for Six’s employees or agents or Franchisees (although A Table for Six shall be responsible for any fraudulent misstatements). A Table for Six shall use all reasonable efforts to ensure that its written information about the Products and Services is accurate.

4 Promotions

From time to time, our products and Services may be subject to special offers. Any special offers shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions which will prevail if there is inconsistency between the terms of the special offer and these Terms. We may change the terms of special offers or withdraw them at our discretion but We will honour any order placed by you before the offer is withdrawn subject always to manifest technical errors.

All deals are valid within the promotional period, are subject to change and are not valid in conjunction with other offers, unless otherwise stated.

5 Limitation of Liability

5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, A Table for Six excludes all liability arising out of its supply of the Products and in particular shall not be responsible for any loss or damage, arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with delay beyond the estimated time or date of delivery; any circumstances over which A Table for Six had no control of the consequences and which A Table for Six could not avoid by the exercise of reasonable care, or any indirect or unforeseeable loss suffered or incurred by the Customer or others.

5.2 In any event, A Table for Six’s liability to the Customer will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.

NOTHING IN THESE CONDITIONS SHALL AFFECT THE STATUTORY RIGHTS OF THE CUSTOMER.

6 Franchisees

Depending on your local A Table for Six, your contract may be with an outlet owned by A Table for Six or with an outlet owned by its franchisee. Details of the A Table for Six which fulfils your Service (and with whom your contract is made) will be included in the confirmatory e-mail sent to you upon placing your order and on your contract.

7 Law

Any contract to which these Conditions apply (and these Conditions) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and A Table for Six and the Customer submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Australia.
