The power of changing to "I Am"

By Margaret, 03 March, 2014.
Throughout our lives we are conditioned to believe that we "are not" certain things. We paint a picture as a child and someone laughs at it and we believe we "are not artistic". We compare ourselves to glamorous people in the media and decide we "are not attractive". We have a relationship that doesn't work out and we decide I "am unloved" or I "am unworthy".

As these circumstances occur throughout our early years and also in our adulthood, they become our self-concept. We believe they are true.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to change these limiting beliefs we have of ourselves? Why should a passing remark by someone in our childhood stop us from rising to previously unimagined heights?

What would you like to redefine in your life? It starts with your inner dialogue. Instead of "I am not" or "I am hoping to become", what about "I am"? Your "I am" should be congruent with your highest self.

Change your inner dialogue

from  "I am unable to find love" to "I am love".

from  "I am unable to live in peace" to "I am peace".

Dr Wayne Dyer wrote

"Overcoming this I am not mentality begins with trusting your inner world of spirit. There are no boundaries restricting your inner world. But your worldview and your self-concept in the outer world are defined by your five senses. The outer world is always changing, which, by our definition, means it is not real. This awareness that what remains unchanging is the only reality could lead you to experiencing a majestic wake-up call right here, right now."

"Teach your outer self to accept the unlimited power of your inner spirit and the things you place in your imagination can become true for you."
