Carlotta
Canberra, Canberra
Event Description
Carlotta is a distinctly Australian celebration of Mediterranean flavours and hospitality. We’re channelling the generous spirit of Mediterranean dining, giving a warm and vibrant nod to the trattorias and tavernas found dotted along the European coastline. Carlotta’s menu encourages shared feasting across an ever-evolving selection of antipasti, handmade pasta, and meat and seafood cooked over coals, with a custom-made wood oven from Naples taking pride of place in the kitchen.

dada
Phillip, Canberra
50-60YRS"Da means "all" in Korean, and the food at Dada is designed to include "all". Peter Kang's refined Asian restaurant caters for as many dietary needs as possible. The chef-owner also describes Dada as an Asian-fusion restaurant, drawing on his Korean background and influences from Japanese, Vietnamese and Italian cuisines. All up it makes for a tall order – but one that’s achieved in Dada’s artfully plated dishes." - Broadsheet.com.au

Italian and Sons
Braddon, Canberra
30-40YRS"Inspired by the boisterous trattorias of Italy, Italian & Sons is a smaller, more laid-back sibling to Mezzalira, known for its white tablecloths, refined airs and elegant food. You won’t find any tablecloths here – just sheets of white paper ready to stain with oily focaccia fingers and red flecks of splattered sugo. On the menu, old-school rules are challenged in subtle ways. It might be a drizzle of fermented chilli oil, or a cured egg yolk atop a carbonara." - Broadsheet.
